Taken at the end of the summer 2016, at Douglas Falls. This unique and beautiful falls is hidden in the town of Thomas, WV along the Blackwater River. The image is a vertical panorama that I stitched in PS and edited in LR.
I started photography in 2012. I grew up in a small town in West Virginia and lived there most of my life. Growing up around Tucker County, I constantly had the opportunity to visit all the surrounding state parks and scenic landscapes. I was probably a little spoiled in that respect. I now reside in Maryland, but West Virginia will always hold a special place in my heart. I will photograph just about anything, but I prefer landscapes the most. Recently I've been fascinated with astrophotography combined with landscape photography. It's just such a challenge. My main camera is the one I happen to have in my hand, but I prefer my Nikon D7200 paired with my Rokinon 10mm Ultrawide lens. In the future, I hope to invest in a longer lens so I...
